ABOUT THE ROLE
From millennials to fashionistas and pop culture enthusiasts, you will help shape content strategy every day. The Ecommerce SEO Lead will be responsible for developing and owning our UK Ecommerce SEO strategy, managing a team of Ecom SEO professionals focused on growing affiliate revenues.
Within the Ecommerce space, Search plays an important role, generating a healthy variety of traffic and revenue. Working directly with our SEO Director, Ecommerce Director, and the wider SEO and Ecommerce teams, you will stay ahead of the latest trends, product reviews, and launches.
The Ecommerce SEO Lead will also collaborate closely with the wider SEO team to ensure strategy alignment across all brands and portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor, develop, and manage a team of Ecommerce SEO professionals to grow affiliate revenues.
- Coordinate with the wider SEO team to avoid strategy overlaps.
- Ensure consistent Ecommerce SEO strategy across all brands.
- Develop and implement international Ecommerce SEO strategies.
- Monitor and report on Ecommerce SEO performance.
- Identify growth opportunities and drive innovation.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and lead cross-department collaboration.
- Work with brand and Ecommerce Editors.
- Anticipate technological and behavioral changes affecting Search.
- Implement SEO content strategies aligned with editorial tone, including keyword research and trend analysis.
- Optimize content regularly and plan strategies around key events like Black Friday and Prime Day.
- Create reports on trending topics using Google data.
- Update content in our CMS, including meta data, URLs, and internal links.
- Analyze reports and data to inform strategy decisions.
- Track article rankings and report significant changes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm updates.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
Experience in an affiliate-focused business.Strong understanding of affiliate marketing and success metrics.Currently in an SEO-focused role.Knowledge of on-page ranking factors and extensive keyword research experience.Understanding of seasonal keyword trends and content creation.Excellent communication and analytical skills.Ability to collaborate and build positive relationships.Commercial mindset focused on revenue growth.Passion for SEO and staying current with industry changes.Experience with Google Search Console, Analytics, and enterprise CMS.Willingness to expand SEO knowledge and tools.Interest in areas like Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle, or Wellness is a plus.What We Offer
