Pay rate : £37.00 p / h inside IR35. (Entitled to paid overtime over 35 hours at a premium rate - 25% Mon-Fri and 50% Sat-Sun

20% shift uplift for working shifts)

Role Type : Contract until Dec 2025 with an extension

Position : Onsite

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join the Manufacturing Technologies team at a leading aerospace organisation. This role focuses on supporting and deploying advanced automated machinery for the assembly of aircraft wing structures and sub-assemblies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deploy and support automated assembly systems including Cartesian machines, CNCs, industrial robots, and cobots
• Define requirements for new machinery and develop innovative automated assembly processes
• Manage automation projects from concept through to implementation
• Provide technical support on machine performance, cutter / drill / router usage, and process improvement
