PROJECT SCOPE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Infrastructure Replacement & Barrier Installation Project
This specialist project involves comprehensive groundworks for infrastructure replacement and new security barrier installations at a Bermondsey site.
Primary Tasks :
Foundation Work : Removal and installation of reinforced concrete foundations and padsTrial Pits : Excavation of trial pits for service location and ground investigationConcrete Works : Specialist concrete operations including pad construction and structural elementsBackfilling Operations : Professional backfilling and compaction to specificationService Avoidance : Working safely around buried services including HV cablesGround Preparation : Site preparation and leveling for new installationsChallenging Working Conditions :
Working in potentially unstable ground conditions including subsidence areasOperating around live buried services with strict safety protocolsLondon area constraints including limited access and tight working spacesCoordination with utilities and other trades on active siteRATE JUSTIFICATION
