Vehicle Technician at Lookers BMW Stoke

Salary : £28,000 - £36,000 DOE. Up to £6,600 in uncapped bonus + an additional £2,000 for EV Qualification

Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm, 42 hours / week, with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis

Due to expansion, Lookers BMW Stoke is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks, services, and repairs.

Reporting to the aftersales manager, Leanne Creswell, you will receive ongoing support and training, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to advance your career.

Our technicians are key to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages.

• Perform vehicle health checks with the latest technology
• Conduct vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
• Carry out additional repairs with customer approval
• Complete warranty repairs as per manufacturer guidelines
• Road test vehicles to ensure faults are fixed
• Accurately complete all paperwork

The ideal candidate will have workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and work to high standards. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) are required. MOT licence is a bonus.

Experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
