The Alternative Fixed Income team focuses on delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns by investing in less traditional or liquid assets, including ABS / Structured Finance, Private Debt, and Insured Strategies.

We manage approximately €81 billion in assets, mainly for external clients such as pension funds, insurance firms, and banks.

We seek to expand our Insured Strategies team with a Senior Insurance Specialist based in London, responsible for the end-to-end execution of insured transactions, particularly in the Insured Credit strategy, including origination, structuring, and management of transactions.

Reporting to the Head of Insured Strategies and EU Private Placements, your responsibilities will include :

  • Negotiating, structuring, and executing Insured Credit transactions with transaction parties.
  • Analyzing and negotiating structures and legal documents, including insurance policies across asset classes.
  • Supporting credit analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment.
  • Monitoring and managing the portfolio and insurance policies, including reviews and handling non-payment events.
  • Building relationships with sourcing parties like insurance brokers, companies, banks, and tech platforms to source investment opportunities.
  • Developing client-focused products and origination strategies for the Insured Credit strategy.
  • Engaging in commercial activities such as pitching to investors and maintaining investor relationships.

Candidate Profile :

  • Experience in credit insurance underwriting / broking or legal / banking with credit insurance expertise.
  • Deep knowledge of the credit insurance market and private credit instruments, with strong documentation review and negotiation skills.
  • Solution-oriented, detail-focused, and driven with a deal-making mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and pitching to investors.
  • Proven relationship management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge norms and improve practices.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, cross-border, hybrid work environment with strong analytical skills and understanding of legal documentation, including SPV structures (preferred).
