HGV 1 Driver - Glasgow Cambuslang

Glasgow Cambuslang Investment Park - HGV Class 1 - New pass Drivers welcome with previous class 2 experience.

We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 drivers for our depot in Cambuslang - Glasgow. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 - 15 drops per day, with Tail lift and cages.

Permanent contract for successful candidate.

Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shifts patterns available :

Sunday to Thursday 00 : 00

Sunday to Thursday 05 : 00
Thursday - Monday 00 : 00
Tuesday - Saturday 03 : 00
Tuesday - Friday 00 : 00
Wednesday - Saturday 00 : 00
Monday - Thursday 00 : 00
Friday - Monday 00 : 00

Day pay rates : (PAYE)

Monday – Friday £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)

Saturday £17.85

Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80

Nights pay rates : (PAYE)

Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)

Saturday £20.39

Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for :

In date DIGI and CPC card

Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.

Motivated and open to learn new skills.

Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role :

Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.

Prepping vehicles for delivery.

Completing vehicles checks.

Refuelling vehicles.

The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
