NHS Lothian is in search of an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Quality Manager to play a vital role in monitoring and improving the experiences of undergraduate medical students and postgraduate resident doctors, to ensure high-quality learning and working experiences and the provision of safe, effective, person-centred care. This role is integral to fostering tangible, sustainable improvements through the provision of coaching and training in quality improvement methodologies, as well as leading and contributing to projects. Additionally, the Quality Manager will coordinate the annual cycle of Deanery processes and reporting.
Applicants should demonstrate a keen interest and substantial experience in quality management as the role contributes to the delivery of sustainable, data-driven programmes that meet the standards set by the GMC and NHS Education for Scotland.
Effective communication skills and strong organisational abilities will be central to this role.
