Job description

We are looking to strengthen our Delivery team with a Project Manager based in the Anglian Water region with hybrid working available.

As our new Project Manager, you’ll manage a team and oversee the development of solutions to ensure multiple projects are completed on time, to quality, water, and safety standards whilst in line with legislation, Alliance governance, and processes. You’ll be responsible for projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring the team handles operational needs and conflicts appropriately to arrive at ‘win-win’ situations for all concerned.

Key responsibilities :

Assure CDM compliance of each scheme through the TOTEX Delivery Process and audits, checks, peer reviews to champion a ‘Zero-Harm’ culture.

Create and maintain a high-performing team culture with reports from Engineers to Commercial staff, empowering them to think creatively and resolve issues.

Translate Programme level strategy into outcomes so team members are utilized correctly and understand their role in achieving success.

Manage the full project lifecycle from receipt of need through scoping, construction, handover, formal sign-off, and warranty issues post-handover.

Work closely with Commercial and Planning teams to maintain cost and resource forecasts, addressing issues through mitigation or escalation to the Integrated Projects Leader.

Oversee the team’s promoted solutions, ensuring they are safe, commercially viable, and meet project requirements.

Ensure each project meets deliverables and key milestones such as Project Rehearsal and Fit for Assembly.

Create an open, approachable, and visible team environment that promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing across the @one alliance, other alliances, and organizations.

Possessing recent experience in the Water industry, you'll have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, drinking water standards, and CDM regulations to complement your IOSH qualification. You should be accustomed to managing multiple projects and ideally hold an APMP qualification. Your strong communication and relationship-building skills will enable you to professionally challenge stakeholders. Your experience within a commercial framework and knowledge of NEC Option C contracts will support quick decision-making for the benefit of the business.
