Control Systems Engineer (PLC / HMI / SCADA)

Location : West Yorkshire

Salary : £30,000 - £60,000 (DOE) + Bonus

Our client is seeking experienced Control Systems Engineers to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in PLC, HMI, and SCADA system integration.

  • Role Responsibilities :

  • Develop and modify PLC, HMI & SCADA software.
  • Prepare I / O schedules and design system architectures .
  • Write Functional Design Specifications (FDS) from client requirements.
  • Conduct client Factory Acceptance Testing (CFAT) and site commissioning across the UK.
  • Support customers with technical expertise via phone, email, and on-site visits.
  • Work autonomously on projects and mentor junior engineers.
  • Contribute to the development of engineering standards and best practices.
  • Ideal Candidate :

  • Essential : Proven experience in Control Systems Engineering .
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major PLC brand (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider).
  • Strong understanding of system integration and industrial automation .
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
