Linux Engineer - Platform Automation

Job Description

Join a high-performance platform engineering team at a smaller Hedge Fund.

You'll play a key role in optimising Linux systems that power low-latency trading and LLM workloads.

You'll design and maintain global infrastructure across data centres and co-lo facilities, tune Linux kernels for speed and stability, and drive efficiency through Infrastructure as Code using tools like Ansible, Python, and Terraform.

You'll also lead continuous improvement efforts, automating processes to boost scalability and resilience.

This is a role for engineers who think in milliseconds and build for scale.

The fund operates more in line with a fintech as opposed to an established hedge fund.

It’s a 250-person headcount business, things move fast here.

There is limited red tape and engineers are empowered to make decisions and help to implement change.
