Equans is seeking a Mobile BMS Engineer to join our Digital team, covering parts of North London and surrounding areas on a full-time basis.

Our Digital division offers exciting opportunities to upgrade and enhance Building Management System (BMS) infrastructure across various sectors including commercial, retail, healthcare, education, and government. We aim to make sites 'Smart Enabled' to introduce additional value through IoT solutions, delivering social, economic, and environmental benefits.

We handle project works ranging from £10k to £1.5m, delivered by our in-house team and trusted supply chain partners. With ambitious growth plans over the next 3-5 years, this role is crucial in shaping and expanding our team sustainably.

Key activities :

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining BMS components such as sensors, controllers, actuators, and software systems.
  • Performing maintenance checks on Trend, Tridium, and Distech BMS systems.
  • Participating in a reactive call-out rota (additional pay included).
  • Providing technical support and advice to clients regarding their BMS systems.
  • Identifying opportunities for system improvements and remedial works.
  • Preparing proposals and quotations for works as needed.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience :

  • City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Electrical qualification with extensive BMS / HVAC experience.
  • Experience with Trend, Tridium Controls / Niagara, Distech, Siemens.
  • Strong electrical industry knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Understanding of IT networks.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Controls training and fault-finding experience in electrical panels.
  • DBS and BPSS vetting may be required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
