Inspired Recruitment is currently working with an independent optician in Sheffield, seeking a Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their friendly and professional team. This practice is part of a respected independent group with a strong local reputation for delivering exceptional eye care.

The Role

As a Qualified Dispensing Optician, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the practice, ensuring excellent customer service and high standards of patient care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :

Dispensing a range of frames and lenses, including complex prescriptions

Pre-screening and assisting with contact lens fittings and patient education

Managing daily operations to maintain an efficient clinic

Providing expert advice and troubleshooting any dispensing issues

Reception and administrative tasks to support the team

Requirements

GOC registered with up-to-date CET points

Experienced dispenser with strong product knowledge

Friendly, professional, and customer-focused

Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask

Team player who can build strong relationships with both patients and colleagues

Benefits

Salary : £34,000 DOE

Annual and quarterly bonus schemes

5 weeks holiday

Working hours :

o Monday to Friday : 09 : 00 – 17 : 00

o Saturday : 09 : 00 – 14 : 00 (no Sunday work)
