Job descriptionProven experience as a Project Manager or Development Manager in BESS Someone with extensive experience dealing with land rights, ground investigation surveys, grid planning (MODAPs etc), and sales preparation would be highly valuable. Ability to work autonomously, with limited supervision, while reporting into a Project Director. Commercially aware, with a technical mindset – ideally with a background in Electrical Engineering. Fluency in English for all written and verbal communications Start Date : Flexible depending on the candidate's availability Contract Duration : 6 months IR35 Assesment : Outside
Project Development Manager / Project Developer - Battery Energy Storage - Renewable Energy – Remote Working – 6 month Contract
We are working with a leading Renewable Energy Developer, who are looking for an experienced Project Development Manager to hit the ground running and support the delivery of a 500MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in London.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Provide project management support to the Project Director (not leading the project).
- Identify and de-risk key project blockers
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and support functions to ensure the project is sales-ready by the end of the year.
- Contribute technical input to grid discussions and development activities.
- Help drive documentation, compliance, and commercial preparedness for project transition.
- Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders where needed.
