Client Accountant

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be recruiting on an exclusive basis a permanent Client Accountant for an expanding organisation based in Glasgow City Centre, on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hard working Accounts Assistant to join a small friendly team and progress their career. Hybrid working is also offered. The role requires a self-motivated, driven professional with the skills to manage multiple tasks whilst working meticulously to strict deadlines to assist with the period end reporting, liaising with landlords and tenants.

Main Responsibilities :

• To ensure the timely and precise preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts, and compliance with tax obligations.
• Assisting with raising lease charges and reconciling them to rent / service charge demands received
• Producing funding requests for clients
• Arranging prompt settlement of all sums to landlords via online banking systems
• Raising tenant demands for rents, service charges and ad hoc charges.
• Assisting with credit control activity and arrears reporting
• Paying over rent receipts to clients
• Providing regular and other ad-hoc analysis using Excel
• Reporting to clients on a timely and accurate basis, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Attending as required client meetings.
• Working closely with Property Managers to provide relevant service charge information
