This is a permanent, full-time vacancy that will close in a month at 23 : 59 BST.

The Vacancy

Our Third Party Administration (TPA) department is a dynamic team managing a varied portfolio of clients. They play a key role in providing market-leading services on Defined Benefits (DB), Defined Contribution (DC), and CARE pension arrangements.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Consulting Analyst within our Data Journey team in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow office.

The Data Journey Team leads the delivery of pensions administration services and projects for our DB and DC clients.

What will your role look like?

You will be instrumental in delivering project work related to member tracing, marital status checks, backfile reviews, data cleansing, dashboard checks, and mail merge activities. You will collaborate with teams such as the risk transfer, payroll, and administration teams to deliver work for our clients.

Key tasks include :

  • Assisting with data analysis and projects under supervision.
  • Producing reports as required.
  • Working with various teams to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Running data extracts, analyzing data, and preparing calculations and reports for review.
  • Following office procedures, maintaining records of communications, and ensuring compliance.
  • Handling ad-hoc tasks and projects.
  • Responding to emails within delegated authority.
  • Carrying out general administrative duties, including mailing and helpline support.
  • Supporting team members across all offices as needed.

Qualifications and skills required :

  • Minimum GCSE / Scottish standard (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Experience in an administrative environment.
  • Knowledge of DB pensions and project experience.
  • Experience with data collection and input.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with team experience.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel skills, including VLookup and pivot tables.
