Specialty doctor salary £61,690 - £96,129 per annum (pro-rata)

Hospice physician salary £45,593 - £54,528 per annum (pro-rata)

2% availability Supplement + on call payments

Come and join the medical team at Strathcarron Hospice! We are an independent Hospice in a beautiful semi-rural location easily accessible from Glasgow and Edinburgh.

We are looking for a fully registered doctor with at least four years post-graduate experience and an interest in palliative medicine to join our team of Specialty Doctors. Previous palliative care experience, whilst helpful, is not essential as training will be given and you will work as part of a very supportive team.

We would also consider applicants who have just completed their two years' foundation training, for the position of Hospice Physician.

The successful applicant would work 3 or 4 days a week (6 - 8 sessions) plus a non-residential on-call commitment of 1 in 5 to cover overnights and weekends.

This position is permanent but we would also accept applications for those looking for a shorter term position, starting in August 2025.
