Manufacturing Operative

Upto £32,778, Sheffield S9, rotating days and nights, free parking, annual bonus scheme, pension contributions, training, Christmas shutdown

We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company located in Sheffield that has been in operation for almost half a century and offers a modern manufacturing working environment. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, your daily duties will include :

• Assisting and running the line and packing the finished products.
• Ensuring the line is efficiently changed and monitored.
• Performing quality inspection tests on finished products.
• Labelling and packing of finished goods.
• Warehousing duties.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

The successful Manufacturing Operator will preferably have experience in extrusion, injection moulding, and blow moulding. Having previous printing experience would be a major advantage, alongside previous experience on counterbalance trucks; however, this is not essential.

This role would suit someone who has recently been working as a Manufacturing Operator, Production Operative, or Machine Operator within a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment.
