We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Lead / Maintenance Manager to lead a high-performing team in a dynamic production environment. This specialist site focuses on manufacture of powders and construction material products for major global brands.

About the Role :

As Engineering Lead / Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for leading the site maintenance program, ensuring maximum equipment reliability and efficiency.

This includes implementing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) strategies, managing a small team of multi-skilled Maintenance Technicians & Contactors, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

As the Engineering Lead / Maintenance Manager your key responsibilities are :

• Lead and develop the Maintenance Team, ensuring high standards of performance and technical competency.
• Implement proactive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor relationships to optimise cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety regulations, including PUWER, LOLER, and COSHH.
