SEN Classroom Assistant - Individual Pupil Support in Year 2

We're recruiting for an SEN Classroom Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil in a primary school located in the S20 area of Sheffield. This full-time position starts immediately and continues through July-with the chance of continuing into the autumn term.

Responsibilities include :

Delivering 1 : 1 support during lessons and play

Supporting individual EHCP targets in a classroom context

Encouraging positive behaviour and self-esteem

Recording daily progress and flagging key observations to the SENCO

Ensuring inclusion in all class activities where possible

Supporting transitions throughout the school day

What we're looking for :

Prior experience working with SEN learners in KS1 or primary

Knowledge of ADHD, ASD, or speech & language needs preferred

Strong relationship-building skills

Enhanced DBS on the update service
