Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality softwood timber products. As part of their ambitious growth plans, they are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Internal Sales Account Manager to join their team in Livingston, Scotland.

This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic industry and contribute to the success of a company that values initiative and teamwork.

Has proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the timber or construction industry.
Possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
Is detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple customer accounts simultaneously, with a proven record of results.
Demonstrates a good understanding of sales processes and the ability to meet targets consistently.
Is proficient in using CRM / order management systems and other sales tools to track customer interactions and sales activity.

What the day to day as a Sales Account Manager will look like :

Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers through effective communication and a strategic customer-focused approach.

Identifying daily sales opportunities and converting them into successful business transactions, whilst progressing forward-thinking commercial agreements.

Preparing and delivering accurate quotes tailored to customer requirements based on stock holdings, customer demands and P&L management.

Collaborating with a haulage and logistics team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products to customers based on requirements and driving transport savings.

Monitoring customer accounts and proactively addressing any issues or concerns to ensure high levels of success.
