Job Introduction

We are looking for a dedicated andfriendly Catering Assistant, to join our team at Scottish Fireand Fire and Rescue National Headquarters and Training Centre,Cambuslang. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of efficientand high-quality food services. Creating a positive experience for everyone.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that food and beverages are served to a high standard.
  • Assist in the preparation and assembly of meals, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the food service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
  • Help with the safe storage of food items and adhere to the rotation of stock.
  • Take customer orders, process payments, and support any special dietary requirements.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down food service stations, ensuring an efficient service operation.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations in line with Sodexo's policies.
