Llanarth Court Hospital is a 95 bedded forensic hospital providing a secure environment consisting of medium, low and open rehabilitation settings for men and women with mental illness and or personality disorder.

Job Advert Role Description

We're seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (or soon-to-qualify OT) to join our friendly and well-established team at Llanarth Court Hospital. You'll work alongside experienced OTs and dedicated OT Assistants to deliver creative, engaging interventions that support patients’ recovery and wellbeing.

What you’ll do :

  • Deliver assessments and interventions across our forensic wards, therapy spaces, and community settings
  • Use innovative approaches to support patients with complex needs
  • Help reduce restrictive practices and maintain clear clinical records
  • Engage in supervision, team meetings, and service development

What we’re looking for :

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A flexible, proactive approach to therapy
  • Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy (or nearing qualification) and HCPC registration (or pending)
  • Experience in mental health or healthcare is desirable but not essential – training and supervision provided
  • Full-time preferred; part-time considered. Our site includes excellent facilities like a coffee shop, gym, practice kitchens, and more.
