Butterfly Network’s mission is to democratize healthcare by enabling universal access to superior medical imaging. We reinvented ultrasound technology by creating the world's first handheld, single-probe whole-body ultrasound system : the Butterfly iQ. This innovative technology reduces the cost of traditional ultrasound systems by miniaturizing it onto a single semiconductor silicon chip.

Butterfly harnesses the advantages of AI and cloud computing to deliver advanced imaging that is easy-to-use and built for the digital era. The Butterfly iQ and next-generation Butterfly iQ+ have received CE Mark and FDA clearance, and are being sold in hospitals and clinics around the globe.

I joined Butterfly because ultrasound imaging is a superpower that allows physicians to see inside of our bodies, and I believe that everyone should have access to this superpower. I saw Butterfly share this belief by coupling ultrasound imaging with novel technologies such as AI, mobile devices, and a whole-body probe.

The Clinical Research team is essential to executing Butterfly's mission. We generate objective clinical and economic evidence that articulates the value of Butterfly to multiple stakeholders—not only regulatory bodies but most importantly to patients and healthcare systems.

Job Positions and Motivations

• Director of Clinical Research : Leading and building out the enterprise sales function, advocating for a product valued by health system executives and clinicians, and supporting customer service to serve patient populations.
• GM, Sales, Northeast Acute Care : Helping bring high-tech innovation to healthcare issues, loving technology, and solving problems at scale.
• Account Executive : Growing career in the Post-Market Quality team, gaining expertise in medical device regulations, complaint handling, adverse event reporting, and compliance, with opportunities to advance into Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
