Business Development Manager Glasgow (Hybrid) Professional Services A growing business services provider is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Glasgow. This is a key commercial role focused on winning new clients and building strong relationships in the market. You’ll be responsible for generating outbound opportunities, supporting proposals, and securing long-term partnerships. Key responsibilities
- Identify and target potential new customers
- Build and manage a personal outreach plan using calls, email, social media and networking
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demos
- Represent the business at selected industry events and conferences
- Host customer visits and help bring the service offering to life
- Keep internal teams updated with progress, opportunities and feedback
- Share relevant market insights and trends to inform business strategy
- Work closely with the Head of Client Partnerships to shape outreach strategy What they’re looking for
- Proven success in a sales or business development role
- Experience with solution-led selling and building consultative relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using LinkedIn, email and phone to source and connect with leads
- Resilient, motivated, and confident in setting up meetings and handling objections
- Able to present to different audiences and tailor your style
- Strong relationship builder who can win trust and influence decisions
- Experience in contact centre services or customer experience solutions is a bonus
- Skilled in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint What’s on offer
