We have an urgent requirement for a skilled Senior Engineer to join a key highways project in the Peterborough area. This is a 6-month contract role offering a competitive rate and an immediate start for the right candidate, with the flexibility of being paid via CIS or PAYE.

A proven track record on UK highways projects is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee and manage specific sections of the works, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Supervise and mentor site engineers and junior staff.

Undertake complex setting out where required and ensure all engineering control is accurate.

Manage technical queries and liaise with designers, subcontractors, and the client.

Produce and review method statements and risk assessments (RAMS).
