Job descriptionLead technical discovery sessions with prospects Design solutions across MDR, Threat Intelligence, Risk Management, Penetration Testing, consultative services and Crisis Simulations Deliver tailored demos, proof of concepts, scope of works, and simulations Work alongside the sales team to close business with technical credibility (conversion target : 30%) CRM input Support the bid / proposal process with clear technical input Represent the business at events and security briefings Occasionally step in to support post-sales (when covering team leave) 5+ years in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or security engineering Hands-on experience in Cyber Security or IT Infrastructure Confident in client-facing workshops and technical presentations Strong communicator who can translate complexity into impact Commercially aware and highly organised
LYNK has partnered with a UK based cyber security business to recruit a Managed Service Specialist.
This is a senior technical pre-sales role , working with enterprise clients across regulated sectors. You’ll be the go-to person for shaping discovery conversations, designing technical solutions, and delivering demos that genuinely move the sales process forward.
What’s in it for you?
- 85,000 – £105,000 basic salary
- OTE of £100,000 – £120,000 (uncapped)
- 3 / 2 hybrid model (office based in Cirencester)
