Job Title : Senior Social Worker

Hourly Rate : £33.30

Responsible to : Team Manager

Work Pattern : Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)

Location : Guildhall, Shrewsbury

Key Requirements

• Holding CIN / CP / PLO / Court work.
• Completing statutory duties including visits and holding core group meetings, attending court and completing parenting assessments and risk assessments.
• Case Management / Court Teams Working in the Case Management or Court Teams is a dynamic and exciting opportunity for a Social Worker who enjoys a varied caseload and working with families to ensure that children are safe and happy long term.
• Work with families in PLO and court with children who are looked after. In the Court Team, you would have a protected caseload of children subject to proceedings. Families are allocated dependent upon skills and experience, with a wealth of support on offer from the management team and other areas of the service.
• Hold a family through to permanence, whether this is a closure, step down to Early Help, adoption or transfer to the Looked After Children teams.
• Work with a wide range of partners, building positive relationships which then supports the various interventions you identify for our children and families.
