Job Overview

We are seeking a Teacher of Art for September 2025 for a fixed term of one term, with the possibility of extension. We are open to considering both part-time and full-time arrangements, and there is an opportunity to include Head of Department for the right candidate.

We require a dynamic, inspiring, creative, and well-qualified graduate to join our talented Art department from September 2025. The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm and a passion for the subject, committed to contributing vibrantly to the department's intellectual and creative life. Whether you are an experienced teacher, an ECT, or a recent graduate, this position offers an excellent opportunity to thrive in a supportive and stimulating boarding school environment. The Head of Department role is available for suitable candidates.

All new staff are assigned a mentor, and the full statutory ECT induction programme is available for teachers new to the profession. Blundell’s School is a regional training centre for ECTs in the independent sector.

A commitment to participate in the extra-curricular life of the school is expected, and accommodation is available.
