A food delivery company based in Kingston, Jamaica is seeking a remote App Developer to create a custom food delivery application tailored to the local market. The app should reflect the brand style and functionality inspired by Yaadeats, supporting core delivery features optimized for a Jamaican user base. The developer will be responsible for building the app from concept to launch, including UX / UI design, functionality, and performance. Collaboration on timelines and milestones is encouraged, with final delivery targeted for July 27. This is a one-time project with the potential for future technical support or updates.

Requirements

Proven experience in mobile app development (iOS and / or Android)
Ability to design and implement a user-friendly food delivery app
Familiarity with market-specific considerations for Jamaican users
Skills in front-end and back-end development
Knowledge of real-time tracking, payment integration, and user authentication
Strong UI / UX design sensibilities, ideally with experience in brand-aligned styling
Ability to meet a fixed delivery deadline (July 27)
Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills
Access to relevant development tools and software
Experience working on similar delivery, food service, or logistics apps is a plus
