HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to start immediately for a well-established waste management company based in Colchester .

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Class 2 drivers who enjoy local, steady work with early starts and regular hours.

As a Refuse Driver, your role will include :

Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle on local collection routes

Working as part of a team alongside refuse loaders

Ensuring safe and timely completion of waste collections

Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

Occasionally assisting with loading duties if required

Requirements :

Category C (Class 2) Licence

CPC Qualification Card

Digital Tachograph Card

Maximum 6 points on licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)

Previous experience driving refuse vehicles or similar large vehicles preferred

Good level of physical fitness and teamwork mindset

What you can expect :

15.25 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07%)

Weekly Pay

10-hour minimum pay guaranteed per day

Early starts (typically 05 : 30–06 : 30)

Ongoing, regular work with potential for temp-to-perm

This role is commutable from Colchester , Sudbury , Clacton-on-Sea , Harwich , Halstead , and surrounding areas.
