Job Title : Maths Teacher

Location : Derby

Salary : £120 – £251 per day (dependent on experience)

Start Date : Immediate

Contract Type : Day‑to‑day / Long‑term, Part‑time / Full‑time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to join a well-regarded school in Derby . This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to help students develop confidence and proficiency in mathematics.

Role Overview :

As a Maths Teacher , you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages. You will foster critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and a love for learning in every pupil.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Support and challenge pupils of all abilities to reach their potential.
Assess and track student progress, providing effective feedback.
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement.
Participate in departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.

Requirements for Maths Teacher :

Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desirable.

Have experience teaching Mathematics in secondary schools is desirable.

Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.

A commitment to inclusive education and continuous improvement.

Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
