We're supporting a well-established manufacturing client in North Lanarkshire in their search for a highly organised Supply Chain Planner to join their growing supply chain team.

What you'll be doing :
- Convert weekly production requirements into material call-offs and purchase requisitions.
- Manage and maintain production schedules in line with customer demand and stock targets.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and resolve any delays or shortages.
- Monitor and manage material stock levels to ensure availability while avoiding overstocking.
- Regularly review safety stock levels, order quantities, and lead times.
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Prepare and present regular updates on material availability, stock levels, and supplier performance.
- Use data to forecast material needs based on demand trends and usage history.
What we're looking for :
Previous experience in a planning / scheduling / material control role within a manufacturing environment.Strong working knowledge of ERP / MRP.Confident Excel user and data-driven decision-makerProactive communicator, comfortable working across departments and with suppliersIf this sounds like your kind of challenge, we d love to hear from you.
