Job description

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Milford Veterinary Surgery. The role includes general nursing duties, inpatient care, anesthesia, and nurse clinics.

Work-life balance that works for you

The full-time position typically involves 4 or 5 days a week, with shifts starting at 8am and finishing at 7pm, including some in-between shifts. Shifts are rotated to give equal early and late shifts. There is 1 in 4 Saturday shift (8am-12pm), with no out-of-hours duties.

We offer flexible working patterns that adapt to your lifestyle—whether you want to adjust your hours around school holidays, manage school runs, or find a balance between home and work. Part-time applicants are also welcome.

Who we are

We are a busy small animal practice with both primary care and referral services, including onsite cardiology, ECC, and surgery specialists. Located in a small town in Surrey amid countryside, our practice offers excellent facilities, including separate cat and dog wards, in-house laboratory, dental X-ray, and laparoscopic equipment. We are part of the local community and collaborate with a wildlife charity.

Our supportive team

You will be supported by our friendly team of vets and nurses. Our current team includes 5 veterinary surgeons, a cardiologist, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, and supporting staff.
