About the role - Supply Teacher - Kettering, Northamptonshire

As a teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring that lessons continue during teacher absences. The role provides a fantastic opportunity to deal with a wide range of children while acquiring essential classroom experience.

The role will need you to provide lessons based on a plan already developed by the permanent class teacher, ensuring that all pupils are engaged. Lessons will vary in subject and age, as well as skill sets, therefore you must be able to adjust to these variations successfully in order to ensure understanding across the board.

Strong classroom management skills

Adaptability and flexibility to work amongst different skill levels and subjects

Good experience in teaching secondary education is ideal

Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent is ideal)

A child only enhanced DBS

Overseas police clearance (if applicable)
