Bay Freight is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Administrator to join our team in Stalybridge. The role involves providing general administrative support to the Customer Service Department to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery of world-class service.

Your Role Will Involve :

  • Assist with maintaining the CRM system to manage queries effectively and keep customers updated.
  • Create and maintain an organized filing system for the department.
  • Assist in developing processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain customer service standards, SLAs, policies, and procedures across all functions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleagues for a team-oriented approach.
  • Communicate professionally with relevant departments, ensuring accurate and timely information sharing.
  • Adhere to all HR, GDPR, and Health & Safety policies to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with booking delivery times, follow-ups, and escalate issues to ensure customer notifications of service issues.
  • Assist with providing quotes to customers and input data into Stirling for accuracy.
  • What You’ll Bring :

  • Experience in transport and warehousing is preferable.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Sage.
  • Knowledge of software management systems including Stirling and Contrado.
  • Understanding of product and pricing schedules.
  • Effective customer query handling skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
