Im currently recruiting for a temporary Prison Recovery Coordinator position based in Stockton-on-Tees, with an immediate start available. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in substance misuse or recovery support within a custodial setting.

About the Role :

As a Prison Recovery Coordinator, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, delivering harm reduction advice, and demonstrating a strong understanding of substance misuse and related issues. You will also be expected to facilitate group sessions and deliver one-to-one interventions, ensuring that all support is tailored to meet local needs within the service.

Key Responsibilities :

Carry out initial and ongoing assessments of clients needs, risks and goals related to substance use.

Provide 1-1 support such as motivational interviewing, CBT techniques and brief interventions

Deliver and support harm reduction advice including overdose prevention, needle exchange and completing DBST.
