Join to apply for the Lead Hand / Ganger in Colchester role at JN Bentley .

This position is suitable for an enthusiastic and positive Lead Hand / Ganger to work on our sites across the region, preferably with a ready-made groundworks / civils gang.

You will have a proactive attitude towards work and health and safety, with experience in the water industry and general civil work, concreting, and pipe laying.

In this role, you will report to Site Management and lead a gang on various construction sites, predominantly within the water industry.

Candidate Specification

  • Experience managing a gang working on civils projects.
  • A positive attitude towards work, along with the ability to maintain high standards of health and safety.
  • Current CSCS, CPCS, or NPORS certification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Advantageous

  • National Water Hygiene card.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
  • Slinger signaller qualification.
  • Confined Spaces certification.
  • Any other Plant tickets.
