Job Description : Overview

Position : Aerospace Supplier Quality Representative

Location : Farnborough, UK

Frequency : Full-time

Responsibilities :

  • Lead, assess & investigate supplier quality issues
  • Lead, plan & execute high-complexity & cross-functional projects & initiatives
  • Lead & participate in quality reviews, PMRs & governance meetings with senior management (Directors)
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, team efficiency, and capability building among the team & stakeholders
  • Define corrective actions & improvement plans with suppliers
  • Propose innovative solutions and develop optimal strategies for complex issues, managing deployment
  • Perform risk analysis for complex solutions
  • Develop and recommend communication strategies for decisions
  • Analyze data & generate KPIs on supplier quality performance
  • Manage RNC / VRNC quality tasks requiring MRB approval
  • Provide technical support & coaching on quality tools to team members & stakeholders
  • Mentor team members & participate in defining strategic departmental plans

Other responsibilities (if required) :

  • Review & approve quality forms (e.g., dropship)

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum 7 years experience in aerospace
  • Minimum 7 years experience in Quality
  • Expertise in welding, assembly, titanium; able to inspect detailed and assembled parts
  • Extensive problem-solving and root cause analysis experience
  • Proficiency with problem-solving methodologies : 8D, PDCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Poka Yoke, etc.
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is an asset
  • Knowledge of Aerospace Quality Systems and international standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; creative and flexible mindset
  • Ability to read blueprints, check dimensional properties, and interpret GD&T
  • Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102) is an asset
  • Knowledge of Net Inspect, Discus, SAP is an asset
  • Proficiency with inspection tools : CMM, comparator, micrometers, thread gauges, calipers
  • Ability to work independently as a role model
