Qualified Electrician or Approved Electrician – South Manchester £35000-£40000 + Overtime + Van + Training – based on a 40-hour week Leading Building Services Consultancy are expanding their electrical division. Widely recognised as one of the fastest growing M&E consultancies and covering work solely in the North West, the successful Qualified Electrician or Approved Electrician will demonstrate a proven track record working on a range of sites including : - Schools and educational establishments, Retail outlets, Hospitality venues and Government buildings. Duties of the Qualified Electrician or Approved Electrician will include

• Installation of Electrical Systems including lighting and fire alarms, switches, outlets, distribution boards, and circuit breakers.
• Working with existing electrical systems including replacing damaged components and carrying out routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns
• Testing and Inspection to ensure compliance with safety standards to ensure compliance to regulations such as BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
• Working from technical drawings, and diagrams
• Upgrading old or unsafe wiring set ups Electrical experience required
• 5+ years working Qualified or Approved Electrician
• City and Guilds Level 3 and either AM2 or Time Served
• 18th Edition
• 2391, 2394 / 5 in Testing and Inspecting or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills, dealing with customers face to face, maintaining site standards
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
