Job Title : Postal / Parcel Delivery Driver

Location : STOCKTON ON TEES

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Length : Temporary

Pay Rate : £13.37 per hour

Working Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 0800 – 1600

Overtime : Available during weekends

Job Description :

Pertemps is delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting multi-drop Postal / Parcel Delivery Drivers in the STOCKTON ON TEES area.

If you have excellent customer service skills and want to be part of a dynamic and growing industry, this position is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities :

Start your day at the local delivery office, sorting and collecting post / parcels for delivery.

Use a handheld device to capture customer signatures and assist with routing.

Deliver letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle, walking up to 8 miles per day.

Carry a delivery bag (up to 16kg) and transport parcels (up to 20kg).

Push / pull a trolley when required.

Key Skills & Requirements :

Valid UK driving license (max 6 points, clean license preferred).

Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Strong time management, organisational, and customer service skills.

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
