Location : Based in West Wales (projects across Wales, occasional overnights)

Salary : Competitive (based on experience)

About EnviroCulture

EnviroCulture delivers ecological and land-based solutions that restore landscapes, support biodiversity, and serve local communities. From peatland and wetland restoration to fencing, footpaths, minor civils and vegetation management, we work across Wales to deliver high-quality, sustainable outcomes.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, practical and motivated team leader to manage our on-site teams delivering fencing, habitat restoration, drainage, footpath construction and vegetation projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work alongside your team, lead by example, and ensure safety, quality and teamwork across a variety of environmental and minor civils projects.

We are after someone who can think on their feet, solve problems as they come up, and bring projects in on time and on budget while delivering top-quality work with environmental care and responsibility.

What You Will Bring

Experience we value :

  • Background in environmental contracting, landscaping, fencing, drainage or minor civils such as footpath construction
  • Strong practical skills and confidence operating machinery and tools
  • Experience leading small teams on site, motivating others and delivering high standards
  • Ability to manage time, resources and site challenges efficiently
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Digger ticket (CPCS or NPORS)
  • Chainsaw qualification (for example NPTC CS30 / 31)

Ideally, you will also have :

  • PA1 and PA6 spraying qualifications
  • Dumper ticket (tracked or wheeled)
  • Other useful tickets such as :

    • o Robo mower or flail operator

    o Brushcutter

    o Chipper

    o Forestry First Aid

    o CSCS card
