The team aims to provide appropriate equipment and adaptations to help people enhance independence, prevent falls and hospital admissions, and reduce reliance on care services. Our goal is to offer a comprehensive, coordinated, and streamlined service to our customers, covering children, adults, and moving and handling. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days in the office.

Ideal Candidate :

• Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, with two years post-registration experience and current registration;
• Ability to produce clear and concise written reports;
• Strong team working skills, including working in a multidisciplinary team and liaising with relevant bodies;
• Knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to disability;
• Experience in at least one of the following areas : major adaptations, moving and handling, or paediatric equipment / children with complex needs;
• Extensive experience visiting disabled and / or older people in their homes;
• Understanding of the service's aims related to meeting the needs of older and disabled people;
• Effective communication skills with a wide range of individuals;
• Full driving license and access to a car (essential car user allowance payable).
