GSL Education are seeking a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work in primary and secondary settings across Scunthorpe . This is an exciting opportunity to provide dedicated support to pupils who require additional help to reach their full potential.

Role Overview :

As an SEN TA , you will provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both in the classroom and in small group or one-to-one settings. You will work closely with teaching staff to adapt lessons, encourage engagement, and help pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant :

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.
• Work one-to-one or in small groups to deliver targeted interventions.
• Assist the class teacher in adapting resources and lesson plans to meet pupil needs.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff and SENCO.
• Promote inclusion and encourage positive behaviour.
• Build trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
