WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES

Details

Pay rate : £17.36 per hour

Shifts : 09 : 00 – 18 : 00 (unless otherwise specified). Guaranteed 9 hours work each day unless a different start time is specified.

Operators are required :

• To follow clear instructions.
• Always adhere to Safety Standards.
• To be able to use multiple tools such as Impact Drivers, Drills, Stanley Knives, and measuring tools.
• To show agility and adapt easily to change with support from the Royal Mail Lead.
• To be physically fit.
• To be punctual and flexible depending on work requirements.

Specifically :

• Be able to bolt and unbolt Royal Mail sorting Frames.
• A Frame is approximately 5 ft in height, 6 ft wide, and weighs around 45 kg.
• Use a drill to unscrew and screw bolts into Frames.
• With colleague support, move and reposition sorting Frames.
• Under the direction of a Royal Mail lead, use Vinyl Wrap and Duct Tape to secure onto sorting Frames.
• Loading and unloading vehicles (large vans) on operational sites.
