Electrical Engineer

Wood is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our System Integration (SI) team within our Digital Consulting business supporting across our UK projects.

This is a hybrid role that can be based at any of the following UK offices : Aberdeen, Staines, Reading, Glasgow or Northampton with the expectation of travel as required.

Applicants must be able to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.

The Role

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the execution of project work, in accordance with the discipline design instructions, including Wood and / or client procedures on safety and quality control, within cost budgets and the project schedule targets.

This opportunity will involve interfaces with other Discipline, Client, Contractor and Supplier Engineers, ensuring compliance with the Client’s Project Specifications and provide technical support based on proven experience.

Within SI, we are architecting our clients' digital ecosystems to be inherently safe, cybersecure and operable. Within our teams we integrate client source systems across their IT, Operational Technology (OT) environments, securely pushing OT data into IT systems as a foundation for transformation.
