Programmer Setter Operator

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Programmer Setter Operator to join our clients team in Telford on a permanent basis.

Our client is a well established manufacturer, known for their quality engineering expertise, custom parts and components.

The Role :

Youll be responsible for the programming, setting, and operating of CNC sliding head and fixed head lathes in a high-spec production environment.

Your Responsibilities :

Program CNC machines (Fanuc or similar) based on engineering drawings

Set and operate sliding head and fixed head lathes

Conduct first-off and in-process inspections

Select tools and monitor wear to maintain tolerances

Troubleshoot and adjust offsets or code as required

Maintain clean, safe work areas to health & safety standards

Collaborate with engineers and production staff to meet output goals

What Were Looking For :

Strong CNC programming and setting experience (sliding head experience highly desirable)

Solid understanding of precision engineering and tight tolerances

Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
