Mekhann is a London-based design house specialising in hand-embroidered silk works. Our Bond Street store is not a typical retail environment. It is a quiet, visually led space where rhythm, discretion and consistency define the client experience.

We are hiring a full-time Retail Coordinator to take responsibility for the daily running of the store.

This is a front-of-house role, but not a traditional sales position. You will welcome clients, maintain the atmosphere of the space, and support the daily rhythm. Sales may occur, but only as a natural extension of presence — not persuasion.

The role reports directly to the founder and requires a steady sense of pace, attentiveness to detail and an instinctive understanding of when to act and when to hold stillness.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Open and close the store each day (keyholder responsibility)
  • Maintain the spatial rhythm and visual order of the store throughout the day
  • Prepare the space before and after client visits with minimal instruction
  • Receive deliveries, maintain stock flow and manage packaging materials
  • Support light admin tasks (Shopify, order prep, basic coordination)
  • Assist with physical preparation of product selections and online fulfilment
  • Support the founder and team when needed, without overstepping the tone or role
  • Maintain the back-of-house with clarity, cleanliness and structure
  • Who This Is For
  • You have experience in luxury retail , boutique hospitality or founder-led spaces
  • You are calm, reliable and observant
  • You prefer operating in refined, structured spaces rather than fast-paced environments
  • You notice what needs doing without being asked
  • You are comfortable welcoming clients and setting the tone, without needing to dominate the space
  • You understand the responsibility that comes with holding keys to a Mayfair store
  • You are happy working independently, with care and consistency
  • Location

The Royal Arcade, 28 Old Bond Street, Mayfair – London

  • To Apply
  • Please send your CV and a short introduction via LinkedIn.

We are looking for someone who understands the tone of a refined space, holds responsibility without being reminded, and prefers to work with care over visibility. If this sounds like you, we’d be glad to hear from you.
