Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) Location : East London Salary : £15-20 Per hour Hours : 35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Contract : 3 months with potential to extendAre you passionate about supporting survivors of sexual violence and committed to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed advocacy?A vital front line service in East London is seeking a dedicated Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) to join their team. This role involves providing proactive, person-centred support to women and girls who have experienced sexual violence, whether or not they choose to engage with the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialist advocacy and support, including risk assessments, safety planning, and emotional support.
• Guide survivors through the criminal justice process, from initial reporting to post-trial support.
• Liaise with police, legal services, and partner organisations to ensure coordinated, survivor-focused responses.
• Provide information and emotional support via a helpline on a rota basis (including some evening and weekend shifts).
• Maintain accurate casework and contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and service development.
