Job descriptionMinimum 5 years' experience in electrical installation, with at least 2 in a leadership role Strong experience working on Solar PV systems (inverters, AC / DC systems, protection systems) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred Equivalent professional qualifications such as City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or other relevant electrical certifications Additional certifications like 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations, SMSTS, NEBOSH, or equivalent health and safety certifications are highly advantageous. Experience leading site-based teams and delivering projects on time and to spec Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Electrical Installation Manager – Solar PV
We're recruiting on behalf of a renewable energy company delivering large-scale solar PV and other energy efficiency projects across the UK. They’re looking to hire an Electrical Installation Manager to lead and oversee their installation teams.
The Role :
- Manage and supervise the electrical installation of Solar PV systems
- Lead a team of Electrical Installation Engineers and Lead Engineers
- Ensure work is completed in line with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure installations align with project designs
- Handle material checks, site progress, and issue resolution
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements :
This is a full-time, permanent role with project sites across the UK.
