Account Manager – Private Client Insurance, Private Client Team
The primary focus of this role will be to support our growing High Net Worth and Coastal client base as an Account Manager on a book of established and new clients. Your primary responsibilities in this role will be the ongoing, day-to-day management of your book of business, retention of new and renewal clients, maintaining a partnership with the producer(s) to support business development activities while upholding the highest of service standards to our clients. Your duties will include, but are not limited to :
- Managing established book of existing and onboarding of new clients
- Resolving client questions, requests and issues with urgency and enthusiasm
- Cross selling / offering lines of coverage that are not currently written
- Staying abreast of changes in clients’ lifestyle that impact their risk profile and coverages
- Conducting annual reviews of clients’ insurance program and recommending appropriate changes in products and services to meet client needs
- Marketing and negotiating renewals for existing clients
- Maintaining relationships with multiple insurance company and broker representatives to competitively negotiate and obtain quotes, binders, endorsements, etc.
- Understanding and maintaining knowledge of carrier products and services to advise and counsel on complex risks and be proficient in the rating procedures and platforms to support the client base
- Checking policies for accuracy and preparing client communication for delivery, invoices, summaries of insurance, certificates, ID cards, evidence of insurance, binders, endorsements, etc.
- Utilizing the Epic / Applied system in an accurate and timely manner to meet agency standard operating procedure requirements and client service standards
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
At least 3 years of recent Private Client Lines Account Management experienceHigh Net Worth and / or Coastal accounts experience preferredDemonstrated success in overall customer serviceHigh School diploma : undergraduate degree preferredProperty & Casualty insurance agent’s license requiredProfessional designation (CISR / CIC / API / CPRM / CPIA / CRM / CPCU) preferredWillingness to continue education is essentialSKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Products : Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
